David van Hoogenhuize, M.A., B.Ed. OCT, has been a qualified teacher in Ontario since 1991 and has been involved in adult education ever since. He has been in the employ of the Toronto Real Estate Board since 2000. David is the Senior Manager of Professional Development and is the former Manager of Member Communications at TREB.
Jason Mercer is the Toronto Real Estate Board's Chief Market Analyst and Director of Service Channels. He leads TREB's market analysis program that provides products and services to help REALTORS® and their clients fully understand trends in the GTA housing market and its underlying economic drivers.
Jason also manages the delivery of information and data products to TREB's membership. Jason has private and public sector experience in the real estate industry, having previously held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
He possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Science in Planning degree from the University of Toronto.

He also was an early investor in Curbed.com and served as chairman of the board before it was sold to Vox Media.
Brad has been a visiting lecturer in the School of Journalism and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a father, a husband, a grandfather and an all-around rebel rouser.
